Ive entered an art competition to develop the paint scheme for the Quimera Electric Drift Car that will be in Formula Drift sometime soon.
the popular vote does have some sway over the judging panel, I have no idea how much but thats what the rules suggest.

thanks, I know. If you can spread the word and also vote from multiple devices that would be awesome and appreciate, the top five in the popular vote move onto the judging round. Sadly I could only dedicate yesterday towards the effort, I put about 15 hrs into the scheme. Its not the most drift lifestyle scheme but I feel its much better than the others.
And it would be badass to see it come to life on a real car...
Bump for second day in the contest, 85 votes was awesome for only one day after submitting the design, keep it going and go find a phone or jack someones tablet for five minutes, lol.
IF I end up winning the money will go towards my big Pettit GT project.
I voted earlier on my Macbook Pro, tried voting on my iPhone 4S but it said I already voted (records IP address I assume) so I turn off Wi-Fi on the iPhone and just used my data and you got yourself ANOTHER vote.

Just voted... I'll vote on my phone and tablet in a minute.
I can understand the black and red having quite a few votes (popular color scheme), but that black and white car doesn't deserve that much of a lead in my opinion. I think it's clear they are relying only on requesting votes. It's a clean design, but way too simple and boring. I don't think it fits the purpose of the design. It might work for a more subtle street design, but not really interesting enough for formula drift.
^^^ I agree. Within the rules and on the main page it states "POPULAR VOTE IS A MUST TO BE A POTENTIAL WINNER." so I just want to be in the top three. So I take this as hey as long as you've proven to be a popular choice you will be considered during the judging round from the panel of judges
Here's the interesting contradiction of the entire contest. Usually a paint scheme for any race/drift/competitive car is usually determined by its major sponsor, so its kinda bizarre that the Quimera wouldn't have a theme to the contest based on that prospect.
