there are still plenty of competetive touring, karting, and off road (rallying, autocrossing), just to name the four-wheel stuff, that is plenty fun to watch, even if it's not the quickest...
besides, how often is F1 wheel-to-wheel anyway?? i mean, ya, it DOES make it more gratifying when it does happen (like waiting for the ketchup to come out of the bottle), but the late domination of the sport has made it a tad predictable (and lucrative like a 10 year bond
