Powerpoint Questions

Hi everyone,

I’m putting together a little tribute to RX-7’s & RX-8’s in a Powerpoint Presentation & have the following two questions:

1) How do I transfer my copy of the “Zoom Zoom” song into the WAV format that Powerpoint requires for audio clips???

2) I’m using the “Speed Racer” theme song as a bookmark & find that each time a new slide is presented, the song starts over from the beginning. How do I get it to run without interruption???

Thank you in advance for your assistance,
Brett

Just Google-search for “MP3 to Wav converters”. There are many free ones available on the web. Unfortunately, when you assign an audio file to a PP slide, it only plays in that slide and will restart in the next slide. It’s been a pain with me for years. You’ll have to use Flash or a video-editing program to import still images and add an uninterrupted soundtrack. Anyone else have suggestions?

Powerpoint from small & limp

Toadman,

Thank you for your assistance. Powerpoint has a feature called narration. The name suggests that it allows audio feeds to play uninterrupted from slide to slide. I don’t know though as I couldn’t get it to work.

I’m going to experiment with bringing images into a single slide & making them disappear to make room for other images so that I can stay in the same slide & perhaps no have the audio interrupted.

Thank you again,
Brett
