Why? Because we need and don't have one. This is our chance to talk about past or up coming games. The system you use and share information so we can add each other. I just got done beating the new Medal Of Honor and heres a couple photos where I hit number one on the leader boards for the world stats.
I am excited about the new Black Ops but I hope Treyarch doesn't fail this one like he did World At War.
Well Hopefully there is no system wars. This thread wasn't supposed to be a mine is better than yours. Just a discussion of whats coming up, what you have done, and what you enjoy. Hopefully if someone acts stupid the mods can just clean their post up.
It could prove to be fun to group together on a game with other guys from this forum and play online.
Sounds like a plan, I cant at work but I will when I get home. Make sure to reserve the games on Amazon because they usually have a promotion where they give you a credit. For example, when i got halo I got a 20 dollar credit from amazon, used it on fable. Fable i think is giving me a 10. I dont see any special promos for preordering black ops though. But for example, here is AC:B, where they give you a 15 dollar credit when you pre order:
Recently dropped FFXIV... was a major disappointment, sadly.

SE kinda screwed up. They've basically admitted that the PC release period is an extension of beta which is why it's a bit lacking. They gave everyone a free month extension (on top of the normal 30 day trial) so it's worth playing around during that period at the very least. It sounds like it will be full of great features and content, just frustrating that there was very little available from the beginning.
Just got Kirby's Epic Yarn the other day.... Lot of fun so far, though I've only played a bit. Once I finish with Kirby, I'll probably be picking up New Vegas. They had a few issues with 64-bit systems but apparently there's a fix available now so I'm definitely interested.
who plays Halo Reach?....I personally think it was an amazing game!
....and xbox pwns all!
Actually it got pushed back by Epic, the release date is going to Fall of 2011

It's hard to believe that what we're looking at is real -- but we assure you, the picture above is in fact the PlayStation Phone you've long been waiting for. As we reported back in August, the device you see is headed into the market soon, likely boasting Android 3.0 (aka Gingerbread), along with a custom Sony Marketplace which will allow you to purchase and download games designed for the new platform. The device snapped up top (and in our gallery below) is sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 (a chip similar to the one found in the G2, but 200MHz faster), 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and the screen is in the range of 3.7 to 4.1 inches. Looking almost identical to the mockup we hit you with this summer, the handset does indeed have a long touchpad in the center which is apparently multitouch, and you can see in the photos that it's still bearing those familiar PlayStation shoulder buttons. For Sony buffs, you'll be interested to know that there's no Memory Stick slot here, but there is support for microSD cards.
The particular model in these shots is still in prototyping mode. As such, the unit doesn't have a custom skin (not even SE's Timescape design seen on the Xperia devices), and is said to be rather buggy. We're digging into more facts as we speak, but it's likely that much of what we reported earlier is still accurate, and though the device could still be headed for a 2010 release, 2011 is looking much more realistic. Still, there's a lot of time between now and the holidays... so keep your fingers crossed
I am actually playing my way through Red Dead Redemption again, as I await the release of AC:B. Thanks for reminding me, I need to cowboy up and pre-order AC:B so I can get the $15 credit.
I was considering a purchase of TFU2 or Fable III (or both) but from what I have read, I am better off waiting until they hit the bargain bin. I enjoyed Fable 2 immensely, but for the awful ending, but it sounds like Fable the third isn't an immediate need. TFU2 has been getting pretty roundly battered by most reviewers it seems, but then I enjoyed the first a lot and they didn't seem to, so I will keep my eyes on it.
As I own both systems, I am not really particularly engaged in the console war, though I have to say if both crapped out on me tomorrow, I would re-buy the 360 first. When I made the initial decision to go with the PS3 over the 360 years ago, I did it for 2 simple reasons: Gran Turismo 5 and Final Fantasy XIII. Well, FFXIII went multiplatform (though was apparently vastly superior on PS3), and Gran Turismo 5 may as well be Duke Nukem Forever anymore. Thankfully, there have been some exclusives like Uncharted that still make it worth having. However, for AC:B, I will be going with the 360 version.
