My fears have been confirmed(for the most part). It appears that my car which I have a VIN for was just shy of making the first boat. The production date for my car was May 29. It had to happen to somebody, somebody's car would be left behind to wait on the dock, I guess it was me among others. I know several of you don't even have VIN numbers and are in the dark but for me at least I know my car was sitting on the dock of the bay watching the ships roll buy.
I wonder what an extra month (I'm guessing for the next boat load) of salt air will do to the car. I am making an assumption here that it did not ship but since rx8orders shows the status as built but not On Water. I asked about the schedule for the next ship but they have not responded yet. I figure end of June they will load another couple of boats and set sail.
Overall I'm fine with waiting the annoying part is that several of my dealers first allocation cars are On Water. I was the only person in the first allocation to preorder from his dealership and it was that car that didn't make the boat. The other cars are just his allotment. Now one of them was identical to mine save color but I was looking forward to the Red. The incoming is a Tit. Gray. I told them to let me know when it comes in and I would take a look.
I'll post if I here anything about the next shippment from Mazda.

That kinda sucks. At least you know your car is built. That is more than alot of people can say.
Who knows you might really like the Titanium in person and decide to take it home.
