ok guys, mods dont delete this post and guys help me out 1. why was the rx8 detuned? 2. does the production rx8 still go 0-60 in less then 6 seconds after the HP thing 3. wats wit the rx8s ecu chip? 4. why are some of u guys crying cause only 239hp? 5. has mazda said anything about why the rx8 loss power? thank u

1. Nobody knows, but the owner of this website BOOSTD7 is on a mission to find out.
2. Mazda is saying that performance is unchanged - 0-60 in 6 secs or so, and 1/4 mile in around 14.5 secs. One person has achieved these numbers at the dragstrip, several others have got slower numbers at the dragstrip.

4. Some people are crying because 238hp still seems too high based on current dyno results. Some are happy because they like the car as it is. Almost everybody wants more information as to what really happened.
