I like the new smilies I think there are a few that are unnecessary though. Are the ones listed set or are they kind of a work in progress? As an example do we really need these?

NONONONONO! These are all wonderful. All smilies are created equal and have the same right to exist as any other smilie. In fact, Give us MORE SMILIES!!!! ( (I think i over dosed on the smilies, guys. )

I like smilies too, but they should be clever and when used in the right spot they get the point across with out having to call someone or something an ******* or other. There are things that are done in good taste and things done in bad taste. I think some of the smilies are in bad taste and will not help the posts but take away from them.

I see no problem with the more crass smilies. I write worse if the mood strikies me.

All these smilies are going to do is make people more unfriendly when they respond to a post. Also why is it when someone uses too much profantiy on here they can get warned but now I can use smilies to "bend" the rules. How about this:
In response to your post you are an :*******: . Or I read what you have to say but :gives:. Tell me how can these be useful, helpful, or used in a way that can benefit this forum. Oh and why I am at it stop being so :gay:

The difference is my avatar is a general pic. These smilies are nothing more than away to directly attack people on here and insult people. If you don't like what I have said then
Yes they are just smilies, but they do attack people directly in the past when people have gotten into name calling they are warned. Now they can just use the smilies, I personally don't feel this is right. I understand they are meant to be in fun (hence the name smilies) but these cross the line morally.
