"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
It uses gyroscopic force to spin the ball inside faster and faster. Theres a special way you hold it and if you do it correctly, it spins faster. As it speeds up, it creates much more resistance. Increasing dexterity and strength in your wrists, hands and forearms..
i still dont see a point in this .. or get what this thing does for anyone .. but i cracked up when i watched the video on their side which ended with a slogan

You can get the same effect practicing with a pair of escrima sticks two hours a day and it's more fun.
I don't know I thought the concept was pretty lame myself. Got the powerball as a gift and decided to start using it...and in the past month i've become addicted...allthough I think im destroying my wrists cause I can't bend my hands outwards without them hurting
It works really well. When i play fightnight boxing, my fingers used to get so tired from 12 rounds of boxing with a good player. Now it doesnt phase me :P
I posted my score because if you guys check powerballs.com leaderboard...im ranked top 5 in the world...all in one month when these people have done it for years....guess its all these years of pitching and baseball forearm exercises
Its not cheasy, its actually pretty entertaining. the faster it spins the more sound it makes and it sounds like a space ship.
Escrima sticka, googled em. awesome. What would you do with them exactly? like whats the routine?
Figure 8's work the best. Start gradually one hand at a time and then move up to both hands trying not to hit the other stick or yourself. Tape some lead weights to the ends of the sticks and try again. The more weight you add, the greater the resistance, the stronger your wrists and forearms become. Get a heavy bag and beat on it. Be prepared to tape it or replace it after a while.
I took Arnis when I was 15, though only for about a year. I still practice the forms I learned, though. When I was still living with my dad we didn't have a place to hang a heavy bag, so I used an old dead tree in the back yard. After one summer the tree had no bark left on it from me beating on it with escrimas.
My forearms are like tree trunks from years of escrima practice. My left arm is bigger than my right, though; but that's for an entirely different reason.

I don't see your score of 15360 on the boards, what division are you in?
