Why are the most aggressive drivers young women in late model crappy cars? Maybe its just me, but all the people in these hot sports cars drive like old ladies and the person tailgating me and weaving in and out of traffic is usually a woman driving an old piece of crap? Am I the only one who notices this???

Ive noticed it once, I was comeing up behind her in my mothers Rav4 and she was going crazy. So I passed her, and she tried to follow, though I did a little weaveing of my own and lost her. The worst part is that she was talking on her cell, she almost clipped two rear ends.

You're not alone, some of the most aggressive drivers I've seen lately are <21 girls swerving through traffic in '92 Corollas. They're just asking to be in an 'owned' .gif file.
if they arent on their cell phone i am betting they have a hand in/near their mouth.
(I am 22 and in the last couple years i have noticed from the passenger seat that so many girls drive with a hand/finger/naill in/around their mouth - weird)
Just come out to orange county for a while. They are the worst here. Soccor moms and business dads will cut you off all day long. The "I am more important than you, I deserve to get ther first" attitude is horrible.
Well, I am a 21 years old and I will admit that I am an aggressive driver. I probably drive more aggressively than most of the men on this forum. The difference between me and other girls is 1. I have an RX8, 2. I am good at it. Never been in a wreck and never had any tickets... so blah! LOL
Yes, it happens.. My next door neighbor goes to the same college I do.. Starts at the same time too.. She nearly peels out every morning.. And well, her car is some old model Galant..
Me of course, I'm all cool.. I drive like a granny.. Sometimes that is..
Never been in a wreck and never had any tickets... so blah! LOL
Never been in a wreck at 21? No big deal.
Never had a TICKET at 21? Hmm... Female and self-described "hot chick" who drives agressively (i.e.- ticket magnet)... Let's see if the peanut gallery can figure THAT one out.

I drive slow... very slow. Most of the people i know who have crappy sports cars drive fast to prove to everyone how fast it is. I dont have that need since my car isnt slow. Actually, what they dont realize is they arent driving fast. Jamming on your brakes, taking a horrible line, and then trying to floor it after a turn isnt actually fast. Silly noobs.
My friends joke that i'm not fast nor furious, but more slow and calm. I like that
While i drive slow, i race fast. I get no thrills out of going to work quicker... that doesnt do it for me. Racing faster on the track and owning noobs... thats what gets me off

How would you define "aggressive" driving. I think you and the original poster maybe talking about two different things.

I agree with you completely, most people who think they are the **** on the road have so many issues. Braking every few minutes which allways gets me pissed off when Im behind them, or when they just try to show off then mess up. It then becomes the cars fault. I dont have a nice car right now ('97 Corolla) but I found out all of her quirks. So at least I understand how it will react when I do a certain thing. Ive beaten my fare share of dudes showing off in their better cars off the line and what not. And its all because I respect other drivers and my car.
drmr - maybe you should define what you mean by aggressive. If you're just equating bad driver & crap cars you may be right. If it's more a "young girls drive more aggressively" . . .
Me + ~10 defensive drivers = 0. I'm not a 21 yo chick in a crap car.
I don't tailgait & drive aggresv if there's nowhere to go in traffic. But if you make the mistake of being an inconsiderate a-hole who can't find your way out of the passing lane, well, I'm returning the favor. Many a vehicle has moved out of the left lane immediately after I pass them.
