I don't know who I wanna slap harder, the dumb-spoiled kid for thinking he could drive or the dumb-spoiling father for thinking his kid could drive? All-in-all, it's not my money so I can laugh. It just disgusts me how people with money in excess have no respect for it. That and the kid could've got injured, injured someone else, or both. $50k for a car and who knows how much for that garage...

Sounds like a lapse of judgment from what I've heard. I think he was letting the kid start it up for the people to hear it, but being 14 the kid had no idea what he was doing. I'm pretty sure he wasn't turning the keys over so his 14 year old could take a joyride.

What Rhawb said. Actually I think the dad was just letting the kid drive the car into the garage. I mean what could go wrong right?
I think the kid just wanted to start up the car. But being a 14 year old kid with no knowledge of a stick, he probably started up the car with it in first gear. With the kind of horsepower that engine had, it was probably more than enough to make the car lurch forward into the garage.
