10 points for originality, for sure. And a job well done, it seems.

Reminds me of what my dad used to say when my mom tried a new recipe on us... "Well, it's interesting."

That's pretty common drag racing technology - the old Chevy PowerGlide 2 speed transmissions can be beefed up to take monstrous amounts of power, and are very predictable for drag racing.

Yeah, I think a 454 sideways under the hood of a cavy would cause some serious issues! What a project car! I put a 302 in a Ford Ranger, but that was NOTHING!

This is a pretty funny auction, it's even funnier becuase 32 sad sad people have bid on it. If I was really rich, I would buy it and crush it right infront of the current owners face, then hit him with a rolled up newspaper and say NO! Bad dog, don't do that again!!

These are my favourite photos,
here is a shot of Porsche's famous PCCB braking system, oddly enough, they forgot the callipers.

Look at this interior...Clearly a harmony of line and pure functionality that reflects the race origins of the car.

And that V10 engine originally produced for Le Mans.

Check out the itty bitty brake rotors. No way you'd get me to ride in that thing.

Yeah, the size of the brakes on that Cavalier also scared me. How much hp did he boost it up to, and the only upgrade to the brakes was carbon fiber pads?

The "Porsche" is even worse, because I'm pretty sure the "drilled rotors" in the pictures are just covers painted to look like drilled rotors.

If you are being sarcastic please learn a bit about the purpose for which this car was built. Most drag racing vehicles use automatic-based transmissions, they have quicker 60ft times and quicker E.T.'s than manual transmissions.

The fastest cars in drag racing use 1 speed transmissions, and before that used 2 speed transmissions. The gear ratios and not the number of gears determines the top speed of a car.

Most disturbing part of the auction is...

"This car was originally built to resemble a Muscle Machine at the request of our 9 year old son."

WHAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH THIS FAMILY!

You would think he'd vacuum up all the potato chips from the carpet before putting it on ebay.

Either that, or he just got finished picking up a whale of a girl and she knows how to have a good time.
