A recent post asking if other cars use or used rotary engines reminded me of a recent conversation with my brother regarding widespread use of rotaries in everything from Sea Doos to lawnmowers. Anyway, I found a pretty interesting site that may be of interest to some here: I always thought I knew a bit about the history of the rotary, but this site (and I'm sure there are better ones, I'll have to look) opened my eyes to just how many companies did (in the early 70's) develop rotary engines. It also makes mention that rotary development is alive and well still with some of these companies, most notably Honda.
