I'm Shawn Mouton
Hi there all RX8 Lovers
I just thought I'd introduce myself. I introduced my new RX8 but didn't think of myself. I guess that's how everyone feels when they just purchased a RX8. Well, I'm from South Africa, I stay in the province of Kwazulu Natal in a town called Richards Bay. It is close to Durban for those of you who don't know. I turned 24 on the 1st of April 2004 (I know I'm an April fool) and guess what I bought myself !!!! A BLOOD RED MAZDA RX8. I work in Sudan in North Africa but now that I have the RX8, I'd really like to go back to SA and just settle down and enjoy my vehicle and the things I have at home. I work on a 2 month on, 1 month off rotation so it is not too bad but I'd really like to be home permanently. Anyway, if there's anyone that wants to contact me, my email is Shawn_mouton@hotmail.com Cheers to all and I hope you all enjoy your RX8's as much as I enjoy mine.
Cheers and kind regards
RX8 Lover

Howzit boet!
Welcome to the board! You're so lucky to be driving an RX8 at 24.
Many years ago I took a road trip from Cape Town to Durban, driving through all the little coastal towns on the Wild Coast. The scenery was amazing. But I only went as far up as Uhmlanga. So I'm not acquainted with Richard's Bay.
I attended the University of Cape Town. I'm a Stormers fan alright!
"I've been without 8 now for one hour and twenty-seven minutes. With your help, I will be able to resist temptation for another seven hours. I feel priviledged to be here with you today, as I thought 8 was going to take my life. I almost died when I first got on 8 and could barely sleep at night. Now with this group's help, I can complete my twelve-step wax program and can go on with my life!"
:D

Any of you guys fans of cricket? I haven't been watching the past few years, though I remember the SA cricket squad consisting of Gary Kirsten, Hanse Cronje, Shaun Pollock, Lance Klusener, Allan Donald(What a fast ball he had!!), Jonty Rhodes (what a player) & Herschelle Gibbs. That was one of the best and strongest, too bad they couldn't win the World Cup then.
But welcome to the club! Enjoy you're stay here. :D
I like cricket, especially the one-day tests. The 5-day test matches are too drawn out. I would usually watch the last 2 days.
How come you like cricket?

Geez, who would have guessed you're from India? Cool man.
So you speak with the funny indian accent?
I had an Indian girlfriend once. Desi babes rock.
