Rick Case Mazda in Ga has a demo Rx-8 on the show room floor. I'll be going up there when I get off at 6:00 anyone have any requests?

Since it's a demo, push it hard, really hard (eveyone who buys their car is still a ways off from really flogging it), so it'd be cool to know what someone thinks about running it flat out.

I bet they wont let me since it's only a demo and will be gone on monday. I hope they let me test it though!

If possible, check for the following:

1 - trunk space with or w/o the spare tire

2 - the circular left and right air vent bezels? Plastic or aluminum?

3 - Stereo. Impressions.

4 - Other storage cabin storage space

5 - Visibility

put your ear on the driver's side window and try to wind the driver's side mirror out until you can just see the edge of the car. will it let you or does it hit a stop before it gets there.

try it with the seat 2/3rd of the way back for the taller among us.

don't know how tall you are, but . . . put the seat up fairly straight, sit up as tall as you can with no gap between you and the seat. how much space is there directly above your head? (nice to know your sitting height too when you're doing this, but at least a rough guess on your actual height will help.)
