Why do you fools think I high-tailed it out of DC last year for Phoenix?
I'm psychic. Or psychotic. Something like that.
I haven't even seen rain in 6 months, meanwhile DC is under water. The White House is turning into Atlantis.
I went for a bike ride this morning - 114°F and I barely broke a sweat. At least, I didn't feel any.
I haven't even needed to wash my car in a month. I just dust it off every morning.
yup, I used to go to camps in Phoenix. Somehow they'd always have record highs. One year it hit 122 (that is of course when the air conditioning broke).
And it's true, nothing beats the SC weather, but there's a price to be paid for that. That price comes in the form of...uh...money. Everything there is so damn expensive!
Nope, sorry, no summer. I'm just a little north of you and I think it has been raining at least part if not all day for 50 out of the last 60 days. The good news is that the 8 is a lot better to drive in the rain than the motorcycle.
Well, I did nearly 30 years in DC before I wised-up.
Looks like I got out just in the nick of time.
i actually lived in DC the year after I graduated college. absolutely hated it and moved back to boston. obviously the summers there are brutal but the winters are a piece of cake (it's all relative, clearly). personally, i just didn't enjoy the city.
Guess I picked the wrong year to buy an RX-8. Nah, still lovin' it, but May-June we set the all time recorded wettest months. We've had over half our annual precipitation in two months!
I haven't been able to wash my car since last summer. Everyday that I could possibly wash and wax the 8 has been rainy or had a high chance of rain. At least the car is getting rinsed often, but really I'd like this to stop.
My dad was watching the Rose Bowl in Chicago. He looked outside and saw all the snow and wind blowing and saw that he was covered in blankets. He then looked at the T.V. and saw that it was a crystal clear day and that people were wearing shorts and t-shirts.
