Help me choose a new watch!

So i'm done xmas shopping and because everything is on sale EVERYWHERE I'm really really underbudget and have decided to buy my self a new watch. With all the sales everywhere I found 3 (ironically) by the same brand that I like inside my price range.

So i'd like to hear your varying opinions on them. It's not like a high end watch or anything like that.

I'm a younger guy, but would use this watch in all occasions.

for the sliver fans:

Lets hear your opinions!

2ND link fixed AGAIN!

2nd link doesn't work

I'm not a huge fan of Bulova, but the last timepiece looks good.

I am a fan of Tag Heuer myself. I have the Link Calibre 6. That's a bit out of the price range I think though.

I am a big chase-durer fan. Most people do not know much about them. They are top end pilot watches. SIck as hell.

Yes I like tags...but the cheapest tags are still 2.5-3x more expensive than any of these =p

I'm a HUGE fan of the Tag Carrera watch line the new Grand Carrera all black with the black rubber strap looks slick (at least I think it will hit production)

at that price point I'd be saving for a Rado ^_^ something about ceramics is so cool lol...

2nd link is fixed.

the chase-durer looks cool...but one thing about a watch I ALWAYS buy it in person because it's something I want to be able to try on before I buy.

That is easy which one matches better with the belt that you intend to wear with these watches?

I go no belt, so no watch.

lol...I have a belt but it's usually not seen because I wear shirts that go over top...and if I'm in a dress shirt it's a black (or brown) belt with a silver buckle (very simple)

Agreed. Watched even look different in person. Weight and overall size are no justice in a picture.

I also liked the Carrera's but, my wrists are too small for the size face those have. The Calibre 6 suited me the best. Looks good casual or dressed up. I need another for when I wear more natural colors though.

and yes, always try on before you buy. some don't look right on your wrist.

The first one is a 'copy' of an A.P. Royal Oak, like Schwartzenegger wears - a bit much.

The second looks like it is a prop from Startrek.

The third has a rubber band, like many dive watches. they get sweaty and nasty quickly......

Also not a huge fan of Bulova, mostly cheap chinese made quartz guts.

I would start with the features you want - do you want a real watch (an automatic)? or a battery or wind up one? the latest is solar powered, Seiko has some good ones, Pulsar too.

What case material do you want? I'm allergic to a lot of metals they use - usually the back is stainless, but the case also touches and causes irritation - cases of PVD stainless or titanium aren't too much extra.....

Anti-reflective glass is nice, easy on the eye - the best are coated inside and out.

Once you settle on 'what you want', search for those specifics - I find Luminox has some excellent models, and if Invicta doesn't have every one of your requirements, I'd be surprised.....

I have an Invicta that I really like. I also have a skelotonized Stuhrling.
Invicta has some of the best looking watches I've ever seen. Huge range in designs.

INVICTA

Don't have any money for Automatics they start at double what i'm looking at.
Bulova is now part of Citizen Watch Corp...so none of their stuff is chinese made quartz, but is Japanese Quartz (which depending on who you talk to on par or better than Swiss Quartz, although IMO Seiko > Citizen)
The 3rd link is leather 1st link is rubber...3rd link also is perforated to allow the skin to breath.

As well as automatics are less accurate.

The Seiko I like are the new spring drive watches but they start at $4000 lol...

Not a fan of many 'swiss made' watches now either since to qualify as 'swiss made' only 50% of the watch has to be made by the swiss and the rest are made in china lol.

I currently own a older titanium ecodrive from citizen with a perpetual calendar...retail was like $800 at the time I got it for $300 when they were having a huge close out sale. Although there isn't anything wrong with it, I've been wanting to get a new watch for a little while now =)

I'm gonna check out Luminox and Invicta...hopefully I can get some local here, and get the savings, as currently with the citizens, bulova, and sekios I can get them for something like 47% off MSRP lol...

Using the invicta quick search I got:

Sorry, but no watches match the description you're looking for: Mens, All Stainless Steel, Quartz, Stainless Steel, Stainless Steel, $400-$599.

because automatic watches are spring driven not quartz driven =) so it's a more fluid motion.
