(the Tuesday after Labour Day)... I started my current IT Director job. It was only to be for about 2 months, as a 'filler' between quitting my previous IT job and starting a new career with a fast-track placement as a First Officer with ASA flying a Canadair RegionalJet.
One week to the day after I started was 9/11. My upcoming job plans crumbled along with the WTC. I had to turn this temporary adventure into a full-time job.
The last 4 years have been an interesting ride. I'm still here, and still don't know what I want to do when I grow up.
Just feeling kind of wistful and nostalgic, looking back and thinking "there were 4 years of my life I won't be getting back".
/hate all the "summer's over" talk.
//I swear, if I hear "Breakfast at Tiffany's" on the radio, I'm gonna beat somebody
