Has Mazda or any representatives from Mazda contacted anyone from this Forum regarding what is being discussed here. Many of our questions could be answered if there was some input. Another of the things I want to know, is whether or not Mazda is aware of how enthusiastic many people are for this car, and how much we not only want to get this car but also want to have a modicum of input into the final RX-8 that is leashed on the world. We do know that people from Mazda do monitor this forum. If you do a search (or just look back manually) you'll find a few mentions of it. It was in an article that I posted, and I think it was mentioned tangentially at Sevenstock, among other places.
Mazda is well aware of how enthusicastic people are about the car. They were at Sevenstock, and from what I hear they've strongly supported it for quite a number of years.
I doubt that we'll have any input on the final RX-8, as they're probably getting ready to start manufacturing it. If there is anything even remotely significant (digital/analog dash, sunroof, fold down seats, colors, etc) that hasn't been written in stone by now, I'd be shocked. We're getting whatever we're getting at this point.

Hi, I'm new here and very interested in the rotary and rotary related stuff. It would be nice if Mazda would get in touch with the followers of this forum so that we know that they are hearing what is said.
