Dropping a Fifty.

I don't know how you guys/gals who use your 8 as a daily driver do it. It's like every third time I drive this car I have to drop a $50 into the gas tank. I'm not complaining, because every single mile driven in this car is fricking HOOT! I can afford it on my budget, but damn, $50 is a lot of money.

I am honestly interested in your stories. How do you all afford to keep gas in the tank if you drive it every day? Serious question.

Just put it on a credit card that has 0% interest for 12 months, then at the end of those 12 months get another credit card that has 0% interest on balance transfers and open another with 0% interest for 12 months on purchases, and keep the cycle going. If you do it for a long enough time, you can just play the get out of jail free card by filing bankruptcy.

I live within my means, and I'm not terribly materialistic (though I like nice things when I need to have them)

I have made all of my automotive-related exercises a tax write-off by starting Black Halo Racing. Even my cross-country trips and mods are write-offs! My recent move to AZ......all a write-off. BHR pays for my gas, too.

I don't own any video game consoles, nor do I invest money in large TV's, stereo equipment or expensive furniture.

I also have worked hard to make more money so I can afford these things too.

Either way, it's well worth the cash and much more fun than anything else I can come up with.

I just shake my head and curse the politicians. If my finances were such that this was a big impact, there's no way I'd have bought a sports car in the first place.
