Dell maniacs beware!

man, I just gotta get me a Dell........I hear theres a recall on some dell batteries.

DELL SUCKS... that pretty much sums up my opinion.... (btw.. im in the computer repair business... so my opinion actually matters).

well I build my own computers so I would never own a dell desktop - I can see how they would be an optimal solution for businesses though -- cheap/easy/uniform configuration for the entire place

I own a dell XPS2 laptop though and it's been top-notch. I also own a dell 24" Widescreen LCD and it's a small slice of heaven. Dell products in laptop/display category are good, desktops.... meh not for me.

I think Dell desktops are good for people who aren't in the habit of upgrading often. If I bought a processor, case, mobo, and Windows I'd be well, well over what I paid for my box now. But, different strokes for different folks.

Hey man, pretty sweet. I'm actually all set in the computer department. I'm just waiting until July 5th so I can order a 2007WFP (with the upgraded firmware guaranteed for anyone following that whole saga).

I can't wait to have so much desktop real estate! Just think of how many worthless icons I can put on my desktop!
