Anyone suggest a good set of computer speakers? I'm looking for something that sounds nice & crisp. Doesn't necessarily need to have a sub woofer, thats what my Bose Home Theater is for.. Looking to stay under $100. Thanks guys

I am using Logitech X-230. 2.1 speakers, they look good and suprisingly sound decent for the price. I think Logitech discontinued them, but you can find them on ebay for 35 dollars. Don't be discouraged by the price. These can get loud and fill a whole room with clear and crisp sound.
If you are willing to spend some more, Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is the way to go. You can get them on ebay for about 80 dollars. The Klipsch speakers are awesome, loud, don't distort as easily at upper levels and sound amazing.
It really depends on what you need it for. If it is just to listen to some music and the occasional videos then I would go with the Logitech. If you are using them for games and music and to watch DVDs and such, the Klipsch would be better. You can hear the Klipsch at best buy, but they overcharge, so just go to listen. You might also find something else you like while you are there.
I've owned many computer speakers over the years, and this Logitech X-230 are one of my favorites for their combination of price and design. They look modern and streamlined, and pack enough punch for most all desktop uses.
The sound is both crisp and deep. Installation is entirely plug-and-play. It's really a good buy for me.
I bought Altec Lansing computer speakers with sub woofer a few years back, and if my memory serves me correctly, they were under 100.00. They are also plug & play, and have been quite impressed with both the quality and the sound. (I also didn't want to spend a fortune on computer speakers- since I have Klipsch speakers for the house.) Even still, I can crank these up pretty loud without any distortion, and people in the other room would never guess they are only my computer speakers!
Thats what I have too. Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers that have the Dell name on them. They were on sale one day on Woot.com for $50. Woot hasn't had any speakers up for quite a while. Also keep an eye on Dealnews.com to see if any specials come up.
