"Club Bouce" - a place for fat girls only.

Okay so I'm watching TV - and there was some very "peppy" huge black girl hosting it, ive seen her before and shes pretty famous. She had some guys on her show that LOVED "big girls", and how somewhere in NY or LA or someplace there was a club SPECIFICALLY for fat girls, they showed some footage and jesus I almost dropped my drink.

Anyways - I'm not here to hate on the "large" population of women, hell i've even been in bed with one or two "not skinny" girls. but my point of thought in this post is the following:

It's WELL known that the USA has a weight problem, wouldn't clubs like this just re-enforce the idea of "hey i'm fat who cares I'm still sexy and can do whatever I want"? It's a good thing to love yourself yes, however when you put a positive spin on being obese because "big is beautiful" wouldnt that just make some of these girls hit the Krispy Kream shop a few more times a week? I mean when someone needs to get an electric powered shopping cart to wheel around a store because they are too big, or a guy is so big he can't even see his down dick isn't that kind of a sign SOMETHING is wrong?

I know diet and exercise works - but its all willpower to stick with it, but with a club like that the incentive vanishes because there are 500 other fat people saying "its okay join the party, be fat!"

It just kinda struck me as odd, a club like that. It would be akin to people getting together and partying because they got HIV, or because they were alcoholics, or drug addicts. WTF is wrong with people when they are so weak emotionally that instead of facing a life threatening problem (obesity, heart disease, etc) they do a 180 and think its a GOOD thing?

heh okay maybe the alcoholic thing was a bad example. I love going to a bar and drinking with friends but not to the point it takes over my life.

I meant more of the: HEY! i lose my job, i beat my wife, i lose my family, and then think, ooo being an alcoholic is cool! lets celebrate being an alcoholic because I'm too afraid/weak to fix my problem. Same principle as the fat girls thing.

nah i gotcha....see didn't argue the actual point of your original post. but i guess for those to lazy they might as well have a place to go where the guys that like em like that know they'll be there....means more room in the regular clubs....think positive.

if some guys like plump women, and there's a club that has plump women, there isn't anything wrong with it. It would be like you having issue with a gay night club, or a smokers lounge. You might not agree with it, but who cares?

Well I think what hes saying is that stuff like that promotes apathy to decent health which is not a good thing.

Its a fine line to walk... you dont want to give people a complex because they are over weight as that doesnt help anything but at the same time you cant promote obesity either.

Is it really that bad in the US? I've been there many times and while I did notice that the average American is a little bigger than the average Canadian... but I didnt think it was that bad

I've always been curious about that...

But seriously, I give the club credit for thinking of the idea, BUT the thing is there is a difference between chubby and FAT. Chubby is some meat on the bones (which I dont mind at all) and then their is FAT which entails rolls and having to drive around in a moto-cart to shop for food. Then there are well those not Chubby and yet not FAT yet who insist on dressing as if they weighed 100lb's sadly their face's are anything but cute and look like they got hit with the famous ugly stick and of course broke it.

I dunno side tracked myself rather quickly, Toxin I get your point but at the same time as a good friend of mine usualy says "Fat Chic's need luving to!". Now if this club had a All you can Eat option then yeah there might be a problem I believe lol..

Haha you guys crack me up - i love reading your responses. and yeah i saw that episode where Quagmire says that.

I agree with what others have said, there is chubby which can be cute sometimes, and then there is FAT where you have rolls and cant walk etc etc.

My issues isnt with the actual club or people itself, i suppose you could say my issue with the the ATTITUDE that might come with this club. While its true that the fat club is almost no different then a smoking lounge, or a gay club or anything like that. But it doenst mean that smoking is healthy or good for you.

TODreamer: I'm from texas and the general motto of this state is "everything is bigger in texas" and that goes for the food too. And while every now and then I'll go get a texas size steak or something, there are some FAT mother ******* down here. People always have the image of a fat oil tycoon driving a big SUV... and at least where I'm at its true. (i also work in the oil and gas industry doing mapping)

I try to take care of myself im no fatass. It's not hard at all really, and it makes me kinda upset to see a huge percentage of Americans just stuffing their face. Give me ONE (serious) positive thing that comes with being a lard ***? When I'm out and about, i can accept there will always be fat people but when i'm out somewhere and see a really fat guy or girl stuffing their face at McDonalds, or KFC, or something, I laugh and then I feel sorry for them, and then I realize its their own fault and not feel sorry for them anymore. In no way am I saying we should all be chiseled greek gods and goddesses, but at least make an effort to take care of yourself (to all the mega-fatties)

Well Toxin keep in mind that some get fat for whatever reason then try to lose the weight.. then can't. A good friend of mine durring highschool got depressed and for years just ate and obviously became to a point obesse. For the past 5 years she's been trying to lose the weigh but couldnt. I mean she tried diet after diet and exercised every day and her body wouldnt give up the weight. She would tell me she'd lose 5lb's and the next week she'd gain it back but would do nothing different. So after years of putting up with it she got some kinda surgery to make her stomache smaller, it wasnt the one with a actual mortality rate mind you.

Sorry just had to say that ><!
Myself oi I gotta get to the gym after the holidays. After my car accident (hurt my back) I've gained like 10lb+'s

For those people who work their butts off and still don't lose the weight I do sympathize. But I agree with toxin in that the whole "fat is beautiful" thing has gone way too far. These days its all about who can we blame besides ourselves that we're fat. Hence the fast food lawsuits.

At what point though do we stop accomodating the people who are too lazy to work it off? First it starts small e.g. its wrong to say its a negative thing, then we progress to its acceptable, then to fat is beautiful. I cringe to think of what the next step will be...

Anywho I think it all just amounts to the ever increasing death of common sense. Whenever large groups of people get together common sense becomes "extraordinary sense" which is then just something no one listens to.

That's my 2 cents at least.

HAH!

BigO - thats hilarious, I'm now making it my mission to get banned from that forum as well. I'm going to have fun with it, start off with intelligent and respectful thoughts against the general population of that place and then continue on a downward spiral till eventually I'm just spilling comments like "Fatty fatty two by four, couldnt fit through the bathroom door"

That website is just yet another dimension of why this country is going down the tubes.

I was on the board pretending to be a fat dude, and got banned when i was asking everyone else if the stereotype that fat guys have small p*nises is true. I could only speak for myself so i wanted to poll the rest.

and thats when they permanently banned me. Not even my log in or IP but i think they had my MAC address or something. It was pretty sophisticated. This was several years back so i forget the details.

This was back from when i was a regular on the mens health fitness forum... and we made it our mission to storm their board. In the end i guess they "won" since there site and organization is now bigger than ever... and so is their likelihood to catch diabetes.

I still LOVE again LOVE how women in general blame us men for forcing this um "stereo-type" of thin is beatiful and fat is bad. So this either force's them to purge their stomache's or they get all depressed and binge eat.

Thing is look at Playboy most of their models actually have meat on their bones. Hell look at FHM, Maxim and Stuff all those models have meat sure they are beautiful but I dont think a ugly *** woman is gonna sell Mag's. Then turn to the supposed "Women" mag's and they have ultra thin models with so much make-up on, with subject headlines such as "5 New Sex Positions" and "How to lose 10lb's in a week!". Now this is opposed to our guy Mag's with headlines like "We test drive the new Mustang with Xnamed Model".

Hmm went off on a minor rant.. meh bored.. lol

haha.. nah.. just have alot of women friends and while waiting around for them to get ready I see their mag's laying around. Do you know they know what us Men really think?!?!?!
That and I work in Retail and see women buying them all the time. Part of me chuckles seeing the titles in huge bold letters.

I once seen a woman make a minor scene in our store about Maxim and the other "Male" magazines having half naked women on the covers. I said to one of our female managers "She does realize that this month's Cosmo has 15 Ways to Acheive Orgasm slapped on the cover right?"

Alright, i just reregistered on the Naafa.org forum!!! I guess after 4 years, they forgot who i am.

Anyway, it takes 48 hours before i can post on their or see their forums. I like how they make their website a fortress from outside opinions. Unless you are pro-fat... you'll get banned from there. I guess spitting nonsense that is unchecked from outsiders is easier than having to discuss the issue.

Do they allow skinny little micro males into these clubs or do wee men hang out by the doors drooling over vast queenly figures? Do they permit them inside where they may be accidently sat on by a mother-ship looking for a landing pad?

How do they select for large females? Simple Weight - some ratio of height to width - or ability to fill a D+ cup?

I am not sure of people but among rats you can take a normal white S.D., and a mean lean Fisher 344, and a Zucker, and a Spontaneously Hypertensive and feed them the exact caloric load and give them the same exercise and the White rat will be 'normal' and the Fisher will stay lean and man and try an bite you, and the Zucker will get rounder and rounder until its little pink paws stick out from it's balloon body and the Hypertesnive will get a little plump and very hypertensive. They call it heredity!

If the plump ladies are dancing exercise does not seem to be the problem...

Perhaps if you young men would use diet and exercise to control your hair line we could speak more rationally about human genetics and fat cells...
