What do I get a somewhat quircky girl for christmas? I got here a really nice digital camera for her birthday. I'm considering getting here an accsessory kit for it (3 lenses, 3 filters, tripod, etc), but that is just kinda boring. But other than that, I have no ideas. HELP!!!!!

Keep your ears open...I haven't met one yet that doesn't leave hints a mile wide in everyday conversations.
They usually don't like or appreciate stuff we want ie Ipods, computers, car parts, tools or even appliances.....so don't go there without a very big hint
She is on a diet and rapidly losing weight, so close are out of the question. Jewlery that I would buy her is too expensive right now. That leaves candles, smelly stuff, and books. I think I will pick option 2. Now, what good perfumes are out there? Ladies? Guys with ladies?
I am assuming this girl is a significant other or you want her to be. This might take a while but get her a memory card with filled with funny/cute poses of you. Top it off with a Fredrick's of hollywood gift card.

Give her a gift certificate to "Bed, Bath and Beyond." Wimmin' go bonkers over this store.
There are lots of smelly stuff that is not perfume. Women tend to have very personal fragrances in perfume that they like. And some won't change...or don't like to try new ones.
You could try perfumed soaps, lotions, body washes, shower gel etc. I don't know if you have Body Shop stores where you are.....but they have packages of girly smelly stuff here.
You can also buy clothing accessories like scarves, mits, and hoodies, sweaters etc, that won't be a problem with size change for a while.
You could also buy her a SPA day package...women love that...massage, nails, facial etc.
If all else fails....listen and drop hints to find out what she likes
The only hint that I have been given is that she wants a photo printer from her parents (kinda why I am thinking that the lense kit for the camera may be a good idea), and diamond earrings from her grandmother. So that leaves me out in the cold. I am usually a pretty perceptive guy, but she hasn't been giving me any hints lately.

I liked the idea of giving her something that has to do with you. Women like sweet/well-thought-out gifts. Make a music CD with all your favorite songs on it as a couple. I had a roommate that once made his girlfriend a CD he titled "Goddess" in which all of the songs talked about her being a goddess. Very sweet.
You could also make it fun. Lots of little cheap gifts (gift card to somewhere, free 30 minute massage voucher from you, etc) with a scavenger hunt that leads to the best gift you could think of (if this is around your family, you might want to keep it "G" rated).
i find a personal assortment of items serves as a good gift that is more meaningful, fill a shoebox with trinkets, photo albums, cds (mixed) and she'll love it.
Hmmmm..... no one mentioned Lingerie... :D, of course that wouldn't be very appropriate as we are going to be visiting my parents. Maybe I will give it to her before we go on the trip. :D

Don't know how serious you two are, but an extended weekend in the mountains is a tried and true winner. Took my girl to the Poconos for her birthday. I guess that's also a present for both of you.
You can always get her a remote controlled car, that way if she doesn't like it, I can have it.
or, instead of a vacuum, you could get her a little feather duster and when she's like wtf?, tell her to bring it with her to the mountains (the requisite french maid outfit should be in your suitcase).
Maybe I will give it to her before we go on the trip. :D
