TRUE...if they have an engineer that would make a HUGE difference. I'll have to remember that next time when I fight close range...I'll need to be more sneaky with my tank and less aggressive.

I got my Leadtek 6800 GTs for about $320 a piece, so you could possibly find another brand that is cheaper or wait until Newegg has a sale on it. Either way, that's not too far off your $300 price for a videocard. If I were you, I would probably go with the 6800 GT, because BF2 was programmed to do better with an nVIDIA card, and also they overclock very well.
To continue to complain, the Abrams Tank the US has is by far the best in the world and seems to be taken out by the T (Russian) tank. The Russian tank seems to be able to take more damage when that's not true either.
There's no difference. All the equipment are basically the same, they just look different. All the tanks do and take equal damage, all the APCs the same way, choppers, etc.

Yes we request donations with whatever you can afford, 20 or so a month for a $250/mo server or pay by slot. Dedicated demo server, mods, adult team players, Teamspeak(skip the EA VOIP),experienced commanders(real-life), etc.

I'm having alot of fun with the single player of Battlefield 2 demo but the multiplayer is really SUCKING!!! I don't want to blame the game for the low ping in servers but how can ALL the servers SUCK so bad? The game is virtually unplayable online...but hopefully when the full version comes all things will be better.
Yeah I have never paid for an on-line game as well myself like those WoW or Evercrack'ers. Our great crew(guys and girls) can't seem to find a hi-bandwidth free server host thus far but still looking.
And yes, if you select custom install in the demo you can bypass loading "GameSpyware" Arcade.
I would not mind playing with you all, against you since you all are paying for your club membership, for fun? Once I get the FULL game (next Friday...can't wait) I'll send you a PM to see when you guys play.

...mean? My motherboard BIOS names them but I never have gotten into messing with memory settings because the motherboard would do it by itself but my motherboard seems to have set my memory to slower numbers....so I don't know the name of the last 3 numbers. I want to adjust the memory timming to the spec's but I'm not sure where to put the 6 and the 3's.
LOL! I did snipe 3 guys last night before the server got SLOOOOWWWWWWW...where you kind of hiding in a small shack/house or by some large cement blocks that surround the bases out there? LOL

I finally got use to flying the jet's but the helo's are still a little difficult to control. I really need to get a controller with a throttle since I'm either flying full speed or falling like a rock down to earth...lol.
I'm really enjoying this game (I know I keep saying that) but I hope they fix the SLOW server problems or what ever issues their might be with the game before I get my full version.
Oh yeah, last night I spoke to someone (some kid) for a sec but he got scared I think (LOL) and did not talk anymore. Also...since he sounded like 13 he was not a real good leader (got me killed twice...lol, left me high and dry). BUT, I really need my headset that is coming with the game to make it work right.

I do find that I really don't like the MEC sniper rifle. It has a lot of bullets and it's semi-auto, but I can't KILL anyone with it. I don't know where the damn bullt goes. The USMC sniper rifle is much more awesome for killing people I can make at least 75% of my shots count with roughly 50% of those as headshots.
Support is fun as hell. Infinite grenades for the win! :D
this game is amazing.. I have not been able to stop playing since i got the demo on saturday.. need more maps!!
I love flying the cobra, i've gotten pretty good with the mouse/keyboard controls.. I can't fly the blackhawk though for the life of me.. I hate when i jump in for a test flight and another 6 ppl join me.. it usually ends like in the movie blackhawk down..
I would love to join an actual clan because when you have commanders that don't know what going on there is 0 cohesion happening and it seems this is a big thing in this game.. It's like the other BF games, but looks like it relies on team work much more.
Last night i was fighting against the MEC and they constantly kicked our asses.. they used all the vehicles, planes, infantry, etc perfectly..

Lol, I know how that is. I can't really use the MEC rifle either. I can still hit people if they're decently close to me though, because it takes them forever to kill you. The aim is just so weird on this with the automatic weapons.

I’ve done it in another game, so don’t quote me on that. I would like to try it though to see what happens…I’ll try it later today.
I actually tried it yesterday on a MEC but he kept running around after me with a nife…lol
In the other game it was SOOOO FUNNY watching the AI players run around like they were crazy...LOL
I would share more tactics but since I might be playing you all I’ll keep quite. Beware of C4…lol

Yeah, I learned that lesson yesterday…that thing must be a .22 caliber. I had to hit the person 3-4 times to kill him while with the US bolt action (blahhh) rifle it takes only 1-2 shots.
OR….OR…maybe what you all are saying is right and I’m just aiming it wrong. I agree that it’s hard to aim with that thing.
Can you change the level of zoom on the sniper rifles? It just seems odd that with a game with such HUGE maps we are left with a 1X M4 scope and what looks like a 4-6X sniper rifle scope???
Also, yesterday (maybe it’s because of the different types of Iron sites) it felt like the AK-47 or 74 was a lot more accurate than the M16? I’m still getting better so maybe it’s me (like when I thought their vech where stronger than the US vech) but it just seems that with the Assult M16 I had to do a lot more shooting to bring someone down.
I’ve heard of the xfire thing but I have never used it. Again…I’ll host a 32 player demo map (Oman) later today so come by and check it out. I hope my ping is going to be low (better said your pings will be low) and MUCH better than what I’m experiencing out there. Around what time are you all able to play? I get home today like at 4:15PM and should be gaming around 5-5:30PM…FYI
UPDATE: ALSO….I LOVE NEWEGG.COM, my memory is coming in today (one day early) so I should be rocking with 1GB memory now.
I dunno about the aim. I'm used to CS where your first shot it pretty much dead center as long as you're not moving. In BF2, I always hit the dirt and scope to shoot anyone at range with an automatic weapon. It still misses when I'm firing 1 shot at a time. I have no clue what's going on. Other occasions, I'm right up next to the guy, dancing around going full auto for 4 seconds while he's chasing me and nothing hits...
I am a huge CS fan and it's much easier to kill in that game then BF2. BF2 i have noticed the bullets fly around a little much.. I've never shot a real gun so I can't comment on how the accuracy is.. But compared to "Virtual" guns these one do kinda suck..

Yes, I've seen that happen too...
But since I'm learning how to shot with it under BF2 my main complaint now is the lack of zoom with the scope we have been given. With the M4 it's the worst...I mean it's basically useless (1X magnification it seems...but no more than 2X at the MOST)
I'm use to Rainbow Six: Raven Shield (which is even more realistic than BF2) and their M4 scope has WAY more power.
Can someone comment on the actual strength of the scope on a M4 in real life? It has to be more than 1-2X
