i didnt get a chance to post yesterday....
was a very crazy day....
my greyhound got very sick....a GI bleed...i had to take him to the vet....

i saw the scariest thing in the exam room...he vomited copious amounts...bright red....

scaried the livin poop outta me!!...
needless to say they admitted him...put him on IV hydration, Pepcid and Carafate...he might have an ulcer...
the xray was unremarkable....
labs back so far are WNL...
CBC will be back today checking on blood counts etc...

one good note: he hasnt had any episodes since hes been there....

no....i havent seen him at all....on-line that is...

luckily for me is in our club and i actually get to see him in person quite often...
i think he takes a class at night, couple times a week...

i will have to text him on this particular subject...

yeah...and my living room and dining room are in bad shape....
i spent several hours doing clean up yesterday....

its still gonna need a couple more hours...i just hope i can get the stains out!

i have to call the vet today between 12-1PM
she's going to try him on some bland dog food today if all goes well...
I just hope its just something simple like an ulcer...cuz that can be treated...

PS...i was totally off kilter this morning not having to take him for his morning walk..

lol yesterday at the elevator i was having a convo with a coworker about how im taking my work home with me and how i find it relaxing to do extra work at home since there are no office distractions...my boss walks by and joins in the convo...bonus points for me for talking about doing extra work in earshot of the boss.

btw i think he's on to me on my applications to go back to school. The other day i requested a week off to go on the dragon and he asked me if i was quitting or something. i of course said 'no way'...still haven't heard back...im gonna try and swing some sort of freelance work assignment part time if i do get in since i'll still need cash...im leaving on a good note even if im getting out of this industry the future is always uncertain.
