I got my NJ FID a few months ago bought nothing yet though. My sister's Boyfriend works at Brick Armory, (they're opening a range this summer). I'm possibly going to be buying an AK or AR15 this summer, maybe also an SKS or Mosin nagant. Though that is whether or not I put an exaust on the 8. get a gun, can't get an exaust, get an exaust, can't get a gun.

So i'm thinking exaust will probably be better.

Love that USP Rote!

I can't for the life of me figure out why the XDM is $200 more than the normal XD. I own a XD45 Service, and have fired an XDM 45. If there was about a $50 difference I'd consider the XDM, but they're so close to each other in every way the only way to justify the $200 is if you just have to own the latest thing.

Nice little carry piece Red ... I picked this up Thursday, got lucky since my dealer had just got it in an hour earlier, and these things are pretty hard to find right now.

Ruger LCP, .380 Auto

... oh, and yes that is my blowed up thumb. Looks pretty good considering!

Sawweet Boostd7! I've never fired a .380, so it might be an interesting comparison.

Blowed up thumb? I take it a bit is missing. Can't tell it from the picture. It just looks like you have a skinny finger.

It might be a better option for you, I've fired an AMT Backup like yours before and they can be a handful ... just not enough grip to hold on to for a large caliber. The LCP is only 9.2 ounces though, so even with .380 it still kicks a bit. The AMT is like 24 ounces. I got the LCP for a summer carry gun, I can toss it in my shorts pocket and never even know it's there - my wallet weighs more.

Yea, blowed up thumb ... I had a thread here about it, don't know where it went. But read this with caution, there are some ridiculously graphic pics, I think on pg3

Took a look at the pics. You actually healed really well. I'd have never known. I know it wasn't pretty then though. I'm glad it wasn't worse.

I've had my AMT for almost 2 years..and I hit a range usually once every month or so, so I'm quite familiar, and I'm a lefty so it works out fine. She does have a kick, but with my 5'4 stature, usually If I'm doing a 9-3 from left to right I get a better aim, and am more apt to hit the target dead on with it. I also play with a 12 gauge carbine, and at 100 yards I can hit 4-6 in the chest, with one being in the abdomen, and the other and usually last shot between the eyes. Usually all it takes is a thought about my ex to do the trick..

My dad put his 30-06 in my hands at 15...The thing was taller than I was, but I learned how to use it accurately...

Yikes, I didn't know the difference was $200. I'm going to check it out this week. Hopefully at the law enforcement only store the difference will be less.

That's a nice Ruger. I saw it listed in the catalog & it looks small. I'm actually selling my .380 Sig Sauer P230 on consignment now. I will probably be getting a Ruger SP 101 .357/.38+P snub as the replacement. Fired it this past weekend & really liked it.

Since everyone's listing handguns, here's my Kimber TLE II. Not a single jam and over 3,000 rounds have been through it.

I've currently got a Colt 1911 officers model (45), and a walther PPK (380). The PPK is a little small for my hand but just a neat little gun. Had a glock 22 that I recently got rid of and wish I hadn't.

"The AK-47 : When you absolutely, positively need to kill every last motha focker in the room . . . accept no substitutes"

But what do you need a spotting scope for? AK's are not accurate past 100 yards.

Correct, if you want to shoot at a longer range, an AR15 or a M1A1 would be a better choice. A accurate 30 cal bolt action rifle would be the best.

I've got a pimped out DPMS AR15 w/EO Tech holographic sight (and many other goodies), Glock 23 ( 3lb trigger, titanium recoil guide rod, Trijicon Night sights, ext. slide release), and a KelTek P32.

Hey Hernan, why do I think you and a Kalashnikov are just a bad idea???
