did you hear about the owls attacking stupid people in Arizona?
ive always thought these owls kinda cool and when i was guarding a navy ammo dump in Seal Beach they were all over the bunkers. they actually made their homes by burrowing into the earth on the bunkers. when i was on post id go up on a couple of the bunkers and some of the owls were really friendly. one would even follow me around a little and come close when i showed up. didnt even mind the stray cat that followed me around
I dont have pics so no one may believe me, but when I was younger me and my dad were fishing. My dad cast his bait and before it hit the water an owl swooped down and grabed it with its feet/claws. So then the hooks of the bait got caught in the owls feet and it fell into the water, and my dad had to reel it in haha. Once we got it in the boat we tried to get the hooks out of the owls feet. That thing was so pissed off(as you can imagine)its claws gave my dad a few deep cuts, but we got the hooks out and it flew away fine. One of thoes things I will never forget
