So where was that kid who was talking about street racing. Complaining there were no good places to race. Saying racing on the street is okay. Have him look at those pictures. I know she may not have been 'racing' anyone in particular, but 'time trials' are not a good idea on the street either
what a waste of a porsche.......o **** I think theres stains on the interior ><
.........had to be the one to say stupid **** to prevent this thread from being hijacked .....but man thats some gross stuff and I feel bad for her parents but hey...someone somewhere has to fill the statistic
I know it sounds bad but I have no sympathy for her. Might as well have rolled out of bed, hopped into the car, and driven into a brick wall. Just no common sense. I do feel sorry for her parents though, and the other driver as well. Looks like he had a new civic and it's totalled.
So the Civic was going 70mph and she still wanted to go 100mph. Friggin' moron first for driving that fast and then for passing on the right side of the car.
Every offence to the parents this is what they get for most likely spoiling their child. Soon you'll hear stories about how she never went fast and that she must of been late going somewhere (like her hair appointment I bet!). Oh and most likely hear the story of "Her parents just got her the car for her birthday.". Hope the insurance company hassles the family with any sort of payout since she was obviously driving recklessly and obviously to endanger.
Yeah I'm a mean SoB but 'eh.. if I was driving that fast and that happened to me I wouldnt expect any one to be all "awww I feel sorry for his family." I'd expect "Hope this serves a lesson to those who drive fast like ********!".
thats really sad, but like said above.. when your driving at those speeds... you have to accept whatever consequences you created for yourself.
condolences go out to the family. I bet they are beating themselves up over buying her the car and not properly teaching her how to be safe. No matter what they told her, they probably will still continue to blame themselves. Meh... no matter what, she made the decision to drive at those speeds and in the end the blame can only be put on her.
This is from a fatal crash on the 241 toll road at Alton pkwy (Calif) on the afternoon of halloween.
The driver was an 18 year who took her father's brand new Porsche out for a spin without permission after getting drunk.
Two 9-1-1 calls came in about three mins. before she crashed. 1 was from her dad saying she just left the house w/ his car without permission - the other call was from a neighbor saying she peeled out at about 60+ around the corner in the neighborhood.
Within five miles from her house and a three minute time frame she managed to get the car on the 241 at well over 100 MPH where she ran into an unsuspecting driver in a Honda then into one of the toll booths.
LAKE FOREST– Nicole Catsouras, 18, of Ladera Ranch was killed Tuesday afternoon when her black Porsche 911 Carrera clipped a Honda she was trying to pass on the right at more than 100 mph on the Eastern (241) Toll Road, the California Highway Patrol said.
Catsouras was driving southbound near Alton Parkway when she suddenly switched lanes and lost control of the Porsche, CHP officials said, and then cut across the center median, careened across several lanes of traffic and crashed into a tollbooth.
The 20-year-old driver of the Honda was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
