driving has nothing to do with god. the church is just trying to control every aspect of our lives.
i agree with some of the things its saying .. its the government laws with a bunch of thou shall nots and sin's thrown in.
are people seriously going to go to a confessional and say forgive me father i was speeding through the twisties in my 8.

I am not Catholic. And, I don't read anything in there about not speeding or having fun in the twisties. I do, however, see things about being courteous and respectful of other drivers. Even to those that may be going slow in the left lane and things like that.

Pretty much sums-up my situation.
Unless the Pope becomes a winning F1 driver in the near future, I doubt that I'll ever take driving advice from him. Of course, I don't expect him to take spiritual advice from me, either.

Who is the Church trying to control?? It's not like they're pointing a gun to your head and saying to do these things. Don't we have freedom of religion? You don't like it, don't follow it.

and for the person that said it doesnt say anything about speeding , it says
