just wanted to know if there was any salvadorian peeps in here, wanted to know how it is driving an rx8 over there with road conditions ect. and are there any good mechanics that work on rotory engines and where?
You speak Spanish? You speak Spanish? Well I have a Rx8, and have not had any problems. Here are parts brought from USA. There are sales of used parts. By the way I sell my Rx8.
Hola que tal, no lo he vendido pero estoy pidiendo $8 mil negociables, el carro lo vende porque casi no lo ocupo. Me puede mandar su correo para tener una comunicacion mas directa. Gracias
Im here in el salvador! Sadly no rx8 for me. Had to sale it before coming here. I can do some work to you guys or point you in the right direction as far as what you want to have done. I did all the work to my 8 while i was in the us.

I did decarb process, coilovers, brakes (drilled rotors and hawk pads), exhaust, oil changes (engine, tranny, & diff), flush ( coolant and brake fluid), short shifter, ipod adapter install, spark plugs, wires, starter among other stuff that I'm probably forgetting hehe lol.
btw, that's what I do for a living. I'm an auto technician

oh ok cool i might just hit you up when im over there, right now my 8 is running good with no problem but i will be buying all the tune up parts so i can have it good and ready over there, i will be buying
bhr ignition system kit
oil and oil filter
spark plugs
red line transmission oil and diff fluid
If I have store. are anything to order. And I have enough experience in the rx8 because I had three that I brought from there and I have repaired without any problems. only that now and here in El Salvador and there are few who dare to buy it.

do you have a shop over there?
nah, I dont have a shop here. I did all the work on the 8 at the shop I used to work at. (in the us)
that's good stuff you got there. I did all that to mine except the bhr kit, though I've heard good things about it. I'd say make sure the car has good shoes b4 you send it here. it'll be cheaper and easier to do so over there.

i couldn't import it here due to the 7 year regulation on cars, and mine was an '04 sadly.your car looks nice too, I'd say stick to the stock wheels and stock tire size. there are some killer pot holes here. i already broke one wheel on my current car
