What to do...

Just found out that the car that was supposed to be here at the end of September (according to the salesman that wanted to make the sale), is now really supposed to be here 3rd week of October.

Do I go get my deposit back and order the car somewhere else, or sit out the extra 3 / 4 weeks?

Tough choice... even with the HP issues, I'd really like to be driving this car.

There is no need to wait. You can call Craig Martin, Sales Manager at Freeman's in Irving at 972-438-2121. If he's not there ask for Larry Chase, General Manager.
Tell him Brian asked you to call. Tell him your dilemma. I belive they have foru or five in stock and they will always sell at list, no haggling or hassle. I hope this helps you.:p

Thanks, but apparently the options I want aren't typically on the dealer stock RX8's.

NAV, Appearance and Rotary packages, Rear wing spoiler, Fender Strakes, exhaust finishers, 6disc CD, spare tire

Preference for Red w/ Red & Black interior...

I may be ready to look at any other colors except the sunglight and yellow

edit: I think I read somewhere that this delay might be related to the Appearance Package issues, but 3 or 4 week delay seems excessive.

All cars with Appearance Packages are on hold. They are backordered due to a designed as I understand.

I know Freeman's had a red with APpearecne and som eother stuff but you would need to call them as the cars move off the lot fairly quickly. Just call them.

BTW, I am in no way affiliated with Freeman's, They have just been a great dealer to do business with and it is where I bought my car.
