Dallas engine install

Sooooo the previous owner of my 8 decided it would be fun to use jb weld for engine/radiator repairs... a piece ofit broke free and played around in the engine.

Now I'm looking for a new engine. I will post on the for sale/wanted section later.

What I'm really asking does anyone know of an engine for sale and a shop to install? Or if anyone is feeling generous want to help me do the install??

I've thought of doing an engine swap, but right now die to budget and time constrains it's a little unlikely

Thanks for the help,

Brocke

That blows.

I'm not sure of anybody who is currently selling an engine...If you want a shop to install it, I would go to rotary performance in garland...If you want to do it on your own and need help, try asking TeamRX8...I know he is always offering to help people out when they have a problem...He may be willing to help you out if he has the time.

I have never opened up a rotary, but am pretty handy with a wrench. If you decided to do it yourself, I would be interested in attending to help and to learn. Keep us updated. By the way what part f town are you located in?

I'm out of town this weekend testing and then also Aug 30 - Sept 8 for the National Championships. It doesn't sound like a situation you can wait out, but if you can then I might be able to help you with the whole thing. You're probably looking at $2k minimum installed for a budget. That assumes a lot of your external parts will swap over without issue. It would take a weekend to complete. This would be for a manual trans car only.

Well brocke...If you can wait for Team to get back into town, I would like to watch and help with what I can...This sounds interesting...I've never seen a rebuild...I could definitely learn a lot for when I need one.

I can get a genuine remain engine for $1800 out the door and help install it, only problem is I'm a few hours away. PM me if it might be an idea. Ive done my last two engines myself and had no issues.
