At 7:30 pm we will go in and order dinner. After dinner (approximately 8:00 to 8:15pm), we will begin the business part of the meeting!

I'm a new owner, at least I hope to be by then. My car has been delayed several times now, but that's a different topic. Is this meeting open to potential members or do you have to already be one?

just show up... dues have been approved by the club member,.. but we are still working on the incorp. status to be able to collect them .. and administer funds etc.

The next club meeting will be held at Skeeter's on Wesleyan and Bissonett near Greenway plaza about 1/2 mile south of 59.
This will the clubs 1st Annual "Drive Away Hunger" food drive benefiting the Houston of Hope for Children. This facility provides a safe place for children in crisis due to abuse, neglect or HIV/AIDS. Bring a canned food item to the next meeting to help drive away hunger and ensure they have plenty of food on the table this holiday season.
darn if i was in houston i woulda gone! and i would've taken my friends motorcycle too, i think you get 10 free wings if you bring your bike, on sundays

This meeting is Tuesday, JULY the 6th. Not June. So you have a second changce to join us. Does the 10 free wings go for Tuesday? I could get my older son to ride in on his bike. Of course with the price of gas, he'll probably just opt to ride with me anyway.
Maybe someone could make a deal with Hooters for anyone arriving in a rotary engine car to get something free on Tuesdays.

This is just an idea but I believe that "Davy Jones Kart Zone" would be great place to have a meeting. I went there last week and had blast ,DAMN those littel cars hall *** and to top it off they are sponsored by Mazda and have an red RX-8 in the middle of the track. you can check them out at http://kartzone.net they are located at 6111 Skyline DR. 77057 Houston. we have had several events at kartzone in the past..... unfortunately they have treated our club pretty poorly last time we were there...they delayed our start time 3 times for nearly 1hr 45 mins... and refused to honor the group special that we had negotiated with the sales manager...
personally i go there enough to turn low 25 second laps (not bad for a doughboy) and have never had problems myself.. I contacted the sales dept back in late May to talk to them about a August/October meeting. :D
