Well, I'm sure many have had a good experience with RX8store.net (RX7Store.net), but I cannot say that I have. I placed an order 2 weeks ago with them for some Racing Beat parts, a flywheel and a pulley set over the phone, at which time I was ensured that almost everything was in stock. I talked with them at least 3 times since then, each time was told that they had everything but one part (though every timed I talked with them, they were missing a different part) and it should ship the next day. Well, after almost 2 weeks with nothing in hand (and as far as I can tell, nothing shipped), I finally cancelled my order with them today. Guess I have learned to order directly from the Racing Beat/etc. next time.

Joe,
I told you we were waiting on the intake which I have not seen yet from Racing Beat. I typically hold orders until I have everything ready to ship, but shipped what I had because you said you needed it by friday.
Its funny that as soon as you cancelled the intake my sales guy said I give him 10 miuntes before he posts this on the forum.
Jason
When I ordered it over the phone, I was under the impression both the intake and the airbox were in stock, and were just waiting on the flywheel and pulleys which needed to be shipped from the mfg. When I talked to you the following week when you called to confirm my CC#, you told me you were trying to get the stuff out that day. When I called Monday this week because I hadn't seen anything, I was told that the missing parts should be in Tuesday and I should get them Wednesday. I calling Wednesday evening, and after about 45 minutes of busy signals finally got through, only to be put on hold and my call dropped. Now it's Thursday and I called and talked with your sales guy and found out that some of the parts are being drop-shipped directly to me (which is great), but that you were waiting on parts that I thought were in 2 weeks ago (airbox), and that I should have the stuff Monday.
Did I misunderstand something that was said?
It's not that I'm unhappy that the stuff is late -- I expect that from a small company working with low volume parts. Its that every time I call I get a "it'll ship tomorrow" thing and after a couple of those I don't have much confidence that something will ship tomorrow. If when I placed the order 2 weeks ago you had told me that it would be 3-4 weeks, I probably would not have ordered. I had hoped to get the parts this week as I have a small window of opportunity to do major work (garage space for the flywheel), but I guess I should have ordered them 2-4 weeks earlier than I did (my fault). My next window won't probably be until August or September, hence my cancelling of the order.
And, yes I did post it on the internet. I got your company's name from this website, so I figured this would be a good place to comment on it. If I had received the stuff from you, I would probably have posted a message about what I thought about the install, what I thought about the product, and a more positive comment on your company.
Joe,
I can only ship as fast as the parts get to me. Its I get inaccurate shipping times from distributers and end up getting parts late from them. Its a part of the business I hate. Im probably not going to carry Racing Beat parts anymore, because their discount sucks and rape me on shipping.
I can understand not being happy about waiting for parts.
Joe, you need more patients. It takes time to receve the parts then turn around and send them out. I know one guy that was waiting on a wing for 2months now. But hes getting what he wants and thats good parts. He also will be receving it later today. Dont get discouraged on timely mannor.

Dominion:
As mentioned earlier, it's not that I don't understand delays, it's that every time I called I got another "it will ship tomorrow" reply. If I got a "RB said they don't expect to ship for 2 weeks" reply, that would have been fine and I could have made a more informed decision about my order.
I realize that Jason does not have control over RB's shipping schedule, but I do expect him to be informed about it. Is this too much to ask? It probably takes 4 days for stuff to go from CA to OH via ground shipping, so there should be no question whether stuff is in transit or not when he gives me a "it will ship tomorrow" reply.
FYI: I did receive the flywheel/counterweight last Friday, as well as part of the RB order (intake duct).
well I just ordered a set or Tein springs yesterday from a distributer I found for a great price...$150 shipped. I'll post a reply If and when I recieve to let ppl know if dist is any good.

Well, after 6 weeks of trying to get my money back on the unshipped intake, I started a charge dispute with my credit card company today. I left probably 6 messages with Jason at the store, and spent plenty of time on hold waiting to talk to someone (but could never seem to get through).
Jason: where are you? Do you ever return calls? Are you this backed up? I guess if business is so good that you can't return calls, that is a good thing, but I would still like my money back! It has been 2 months since you shipped the original stuff!
Hmm, I have checked all my messages and have not gotten one from you. Have you tried emailing me? Just email me your info right now and I will look into this. Im not hear to steal money so I want to get this cleared up.
I have left them at the 614-771-8966 number. What information do you need? You should have my credit card number (since you billed it in April) and the price of the REVI.
We did the order over the phone, and I don't think you gave me an order number (or at least I don't have it any more). I didn't see any packing slips with any of the shipped items, and I have never received an invoice or CC receipt from you.
Name is Joe Gerhardstein. Card was charged April 20.
Joe,
If you have contacted the credit card company about that then they are going to take the money out of my account. It will probably take at least a week for that to happen. If you have not put a dispute in with them let me know and I will refund your card today.
Joe,
I don't think I've ever ordered from Jason.
All of your posts probably should be have been PM's to Jason instead of this thread.
Also, there's a Good Guy / Bad Guy place to post your experiences with sellers.
Good Luck!
EBF
I didn't know how active Jason was with this group, so PMing him could have been useless (plus I didn' t know his PM until he replied to my first message). As it turns out, email/PM seems to be a much more reliable way to get ahold of him than via the phone.
As I mentioned at the top of the thread, I posted here as this is where I found about his company. Jason has been replying here instead of PMing me, so I have been replying here as well.
