I ordered his aluminum undertray over the holidays. Shipping was pretty fast, considering the time of year, fit great, and had no trouble installing it. Took about an hour to cut out the pieces that remained of the OEM one (road debris took it out) and install the new part.

I was also a little leery because of posts in this section pointing to the events that happened before. I have also been hesitant to post this because it seems that the only consensus Scott is that there is no consensus. Some have good experiences, some do not (to say the very least).

According to my experience with him, I would happily do business with him again. But anyone reading the old posts (as I did) can easily get the impression that he's less than stand-up, and therefore not do business with him. I would have done the same, to be perfectly honest, had he not been one of the few places to actually sell what I was looking for. I went with him because he was the only person to offer an inexpensive aluminum undertray. I don't have fab skills, and I didn't want to be in the same position with a plastic one next year when the snow falls (big, unavoidable chunk of snow/ice took the previous undertray out).

Bad stuff happened, it doesn't seem to be happening now, unless what sh3da is saying is true.

My experience was good. The part is high quality, fit right the first time, and cost about the same as an OEM replacement plastic undertray, which is definitely less durable than aluminum. Educate yourself on the history, and make a decision from there. I would buy parts from him again.

Any dyno sheets on his curent kit? Just wondering how it stacks against others. Where and how much power it makes. Btw, it would be nice if he sold a manifold/downpipe package, where you could use your own turbo. Something like turblown does.

Recently ordered a set of upgraded differential bushings from Scott, good price and arrived at my door within 3 days!

Bushings were easily installed, came with the grease and where very top notch.

Never had a problem myself. Sounds like their were some issues in the link, but that he was sincerely trying to resolve them.

He's a busy guy with a small operation. I had good experience with him, ordered his REW subframe kit. When I ordered it, it was out of stock, but I called to let him know that I was in no real rush. He gave me an honest timeframe of a month to a month and a half for it to be at my door, which was accurate. He kept me updated on the status of the kit and we actually talked a bit about my build and plans I've got for it. Just got my subframe yesterday- the quality is top notch, good uniform strong welds, quality hardware, quality bushings, and it was packed great with LAYERS AND LAYERS of bubblewrap lol. He's good people and I will do business with him in the future. Planning on using his diff bushings, aluminum undertray (modified to work with a custom VMIC setup), and some other goodies.

That is good for you, but a friend of mine paid for his item 6 or 7 months ago and has gotten nothing but BS excuses. Some are lucky, some are not. But he was warned.

Your "friend" is not YOU, therefore this post is irrelevant. You waste no time jumping on RX8Performance good guy threads huh? Nothing better to do with your time than act like a snide *** on the internet?

Shy can't crap posts like that get deleted and the member warned? That's what "bad guy" threads are for. Regardless of whatever differences I've ever had with any vendor I never went after them in a Good Guy thread. It just begs for a p-ssing contest.

Since 9k feels obligated to weigh in and tell his friend's story, it is only fair that I do the same.

Scott @ RX8Performance was very easy when I worked with him on my past two transactions. Quick shipping, products were in excellent condition. He even provided phone support when we had installation issues.

Great guy!

I'm pleased to say that he recently drove 60 miles to deliver a set of diff mounts to my brother's home and refused gas money. Good guy indeed.

I ordered from rx8 performance a few months ago. They did not have what I ordered in stock, however Scott took pictures and sent them to me of nearly every step of the fabrication. I must admit i has a bit impatient but this vender has more customer service then 90% of anyone I have ever dealt with, aftermarket car parts or not. He is awesome you can really tell he want his customers to be happy and return.

I'll rehash this as it has been a month since anyone posted in this thread.

I recently placed an order through Scott and he was excellent! He and I went back and forth through 14 emails and he was extremely helpful with all of my questions. He sent my order out immediately after payment and I received it 2 days later in Denver when it was shipped from FL (ordered friday, shipped friday, received monday morning) so without the weekend I may have even received it sooner!

He checked his stock and advised that he had the item in stock, then told me his shipping person was about to leave to drop packages off and if I could get it paid in the next 15 minutes it would go out immediately when she left. before I had even sent the payment he had it boxed and ready, then i paid and it was on its way.

Even after the product arrived he emailed me back asking if I received it and if the product was working well and what I expected and has given me tips and advice even after the installation and answered my questions since then.

I would easily order form him again and he is very professional and courteous. Agree with the guy above that he went above and beyond what most other sellers or companies would do. Some take your money and no responses or are not there for support or questions after purchasing but he was very prompt and emailed me tracking immediately after it went out and followed up to make sure it was received and working well.

Shout out to a good seller/company!
