Smile Experience with certain Vendors and Online Shops!

Hey guys! Im new to the club, thought about starting a discussion about your experiences with certain vendors and online shops for the 8!

I'd like to start with saying my experience with TurboXS was brilliant! Shipping was very fast and the vendor communicated with me in a kind manner!

Now to start with my experience with buying my Agency Power midpipe from.....
THMotorsports.

Oh my **** this company has been p*ss*ng me off this week. I ordered a midpipe from them last Sunday and checked to see two days later if they even shipped it.

They didnt.

I called them that day and asked if I could get the item by the next day (Today) and the guy told me to pay for overnight shipping (which I did and that was ALOT of money)

The guy guaranteed me the pipe would be at my doorstep by the afternoon and it was not there. Nothing. nada. Called them and asked where my pipe is and they said theyd call me back in 30 mins. Waited 1 and a half hours and no call back.

Now my 8 isnt driveable due to not having any pipe and is only running on headers.

Anyone else having bad experiences with THMotorsports or is it just me?

Perhaps a moderator could move this post to the good guys/bad guys forum. Once there, you might find relevant past discussions.

i had a similar experience with them - search for my posts.... They were friendly enough, but were not straightforward when they didnt have parts immediately available / in stock.

I've had nothing but great customer service from Adam at Thmotorsports. I forget exactly how long it took for me to get my midpipe but it was a very reasonable amount of time, maybe about a week.

I'm sorry to hear you had so much trouble with them. At this point if it still isn't shipped maybe just ask for a refund and buy a better midpipe. I bet you will be replacing that one in 10-15k miles because of what it will sound like then.

Why are you completely missing a cat/midpipe for your car? You had to have had something else there before, if it was a clogged cat you can just punch out the cat and use that until the midpipe gets there. If you did something silly like sell your cat before you got your new pipe then you can hardly blame them for that.

I received my pipe and my anger towards them has kinda calmed down...

And the CAT was not clogged nor gone, I hit a reeaaalllyyy bad bump somewhere in Texas and the CAT somehow bent and lost its pressure. :\
