EVO-R.net IS A SCAM!!!

I ordered his Evo-R endlinks for my 8. I ordered them almost 2 weeks ago. I have not received them, he wont respond to my emails and he will not return my calls or answer his phone. DO NOT order from him! I will be starting a claim with paypal to have my money refunded. Now I just have to figure out where to get some good endlinks for my 8 fast without spending more than 200 bucks which seems impossible!

Did you read up on him at all? If you had you would have know this is common. Some have no problems with him, some people never hear anything and then all of the sudden they get their stuff.

I believe race Root said he has them in stock but I would verify that first. Goodwin racing also sells a nice pair.

fyi: the last time I checked (last month) with Race Roots they had a huge back order on EVO-R endlinks as they couldn't get a hold of them either. So you might need to hang tight (I just opted for Agency Power ones instead).

why didn't you just order them from race roots ... after hearing the shipping issues with the main distro, RR seemed like the smarter choice ... had them in no time

edit: ooops, posted at the same time ^^^^

Whether he should be mad or not depends on the terms of his particular sale and what he was told. That's still no excuse for being ignored by EVO-R (Which Jay does often apparently).

If you want/need something fast, ALWAYS contact the seller first to confirm the item is in stock and will ship right away and at what shipping speed. Exception: well known dealer that has an accurate inventory and detailed shipping policy.

Endlinks: There are more and better options on endlinks if you expand your search to include Miata endlinks. I dont know what years will work, but I know many of them will.

Do you really need adjustable endlinks? Some people do, most dont.

You should have requested it next day delivery on the parts you've ordered, then they have no choice to get it delivered to you as soon as possible.

Anyway, in your situation, if your planning to file a claim, then you could report them to the Better Business Bureau as well. Good luck.

I had read up on them as to the quality of the part but its my bad for not researching them as far as customer service. I ordered their endlinks since they are completely sealed. I agree, if you want them quick you should pay for overnight shipping however it wasnt an option when I ordered. Also, if they guy cannot return an email overnight, why am I to think he would ship a part overnight. When I spoke to paypal, they said they opened the claim and emailed him. They said 99% of the time the seller will get back with them immediately cause if they do not respond within 10 days then paypal will refund my money and the seller loses their ability to be a seller on ebay and use paypal. I know some have waited more than 2 weeks for their product however I refuse to wait that long IF the seller is not responding to calls or emails...or providing any tracking. If he would email me or call me and say when they are expected to be shipped or something like that, then I wouldnt mind waiting. But no communication back at all...unacceptable.

Wow .... I'm not going to defend Evo-R ... but dude .... it's a set of end links .... you seem quite demanding for a cheap part.

I hate waiting as well but ordering stuff from these small dealers .... its entirely different situation than buying something from the big name brands.
Be patient .....
I think you are having a bit of a knee jerk reaction here .....

BTW ..... I got my Evo-R end links from Race Roots .... they're awesome .... I hope you get yours soon.

Cheers and chill .... have a drink to the internet gawdz and see if your complaints are heard over at Ev0-R

I got the last of Jay's endlinks about 2 weeks ago. I wanted more but he only had so many. I currently have 2 sets in stock.

His stock level may change and may be back in stock I have no clue, he would be the only one to know. All in all Jay is great guy, slow at responses but he is not a scammer so you shouldn't make accusations like that.

Best of luck and let me know if you need any further assistance.

Brice

On a side note: I have contemplated carrying more items from EVO-R to avoid this issue. I won't mind stocking more of his merchandise if their is demand. Especially since there are issues with delivery sometimes and communication.

Post up if you guys want me to get anything on my next order to carry for stock.

Since people like his products and some trust you to do business with, why don't you set-up periodic "batches" where people can order the stuff they need from him through you like a group buy? B2B communications are worth a lot more than the b2c ones in the end.
This would save you from the pain of stocking unsold items, he would avoid such threads an the forum users would be happier overall

It took 4 months and a lot of persistence but I got my Evo-R lip. With Jay there is an obvious communication barrier and time issue, but his stuffs high quality. In fact, you won't find a better front lip, trunk lip and body pieces that fit like his except OEM.

I'm not here to defend his timing, which is God awful, but there is a reason why I sold his used front lip off my car for $50 less than what I bought it for in a matter of HOURS.

I don't doubt the quality of the products, but sometimes you don't want to wait weeks to get your goods. One week is the most reasonable time frame for in stock items to arrive to their destination.

People are waiting 2.5 years for their MM turbo upgrade kits and members here still defend this as being acceptable, lol

Evo-R has a history of being slow as in several months extra, but they never scammed anyone

Highspeed sorry that you cannot wait for the endlink. I did told you they are back ordered. We are waiting for AUTOEXE to place their order again. So that the factory can make both of our orders at same time. Endlinks are in production now. Should be ready by mid Aug.
