I really hate to do this but this has gone on long enough. Jay from Evo-R sold me a Carbon Fiber RX-8 front lip on March 26th with a promised shipping date of April 16th. It is STILL not here and NOW he will not communicate with me at all after about 7 e-mails. I have asked him several times to update me or send me a refund and now he won't respond. I please ask that NONE of your purchase his products until he is found to be responsive.
If anyone knows him personally and has a way to contact him please let me know. I feel as though I am about to be $459 out of luck and I am willing to go to whatever lengths to retrieve even a portion of that money.
A quick note: I have purchased to evo-r rear trunk lip for my car from him a year or so ago, and received it just fine. So...I don't know what this guy is doing.

^ I ordered the CF gauge pod from him awhile back it took maybe 3 or 4 emails to get a response the product comes from overseas so it took awhile and i think he just has no control over the other end i eventually got the product after talking about a refund and possible paypal dispute because it was almost 30 days. He threw in some little spirit r decals which was nice but i really just wanted my pod. I think you will get the product it just takes wayyyyy to long and he has no control and doesnt have a good answer so he doesnt which is silly also because communication is better then not answering.
Damn. Glad I'm not the only one. Sent him those e-mails and now waiting for a response. Moving over to rx7club as well to drop the info. Like I said, I did order his trunk lip, which I love btw, and that was super fast. He did tell me he was talking with the manufacturer, but he needs to keep the customer that paid $470 updated once and a while.
i have seen threads like these for this vendor before. i think it is because people order things that are not in stock. i'd recommend to anyone ordering from Evo-R PM Jay before ordering to make sure the item is actually in stock.

Absolutely. I agree with this 100%. I think it's more than worth it. I just wanted to know where we stand as far as the order goes, and just basic communication. If this was a $60 order, I could wait forever, but $500, man...I could be using that for something else.

Right now, we are at ZERO communication. I have dealt with bad communication before, this flat out feels like $500 down the drain. No excuse. I'm a pretty busy person myself, but if I was running a business on the side, I'd sit down and answer some e-mails.
I e-mailed him the other day using my g-mail account instead of my Virginia Tech account just in hopes that it would catch his eye. Behold, A RESPONSE!!!! It's only fair to update this thread with his response so you guys can make your own opinions of the situation.

i emailed him to make sure he recieved the order and he emailed me back within 40 minutes. he said he should have them in stock next week ready to ship
Thanks for the info and PM blur. Let me know if you get that lip before I do. Cause I'll want to get that shipping code so I can drive and get it myself.
