In 1957 this was billed as the world's safest car. It became known as the world's ugliest car.

I guess you didn't read the story. It was built by an American from Connecticut. A priest no less. Raised money to build it from his congregation. It was a brit that restored it. Took 12 years.

I would swear it's either the Homer, the Cat-in-the-Hat's or it belongs to one of the many 'Whos' that live in 'Who-ville' of the "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"

Maybe we should start a poll. See who can find the ugliest car, must have a pic included that we can vote on. No Photo-chop for now (find something that someone stupid ACTUALLY DID to a car)

I'll start with a few examples...

Sadly, that BMW concept is in there from the L.A. Authoshow this year (2005)... I think they should call it the BMW Baluga...

One of the goofiest things I've ever seen is the hood on the Veritas RS Coupe. (I'd post the pic, but that doesn't work, so I'm posting the link.)

It looks like an inflatable Jaguar E-type sprung a leak.

Wow, whoever designed that BMW might want to go have a talk with Dr. Freud. Maybe it's just the angle of the shot, but that is one phallic car.
