Looking for a family hauler to replace our 92x. Wifey no longer wants manual shifter and doesn't care about Stage II nivana. So we test drove a mazda6 gt wagon over the weekend. Our local dealership has a few 07s remaining and they have deep rebates on them. Drove nicely. the interior is nicer than the cx-7. Less hard plastics. Lots of room at the back. Comes full load since its GT. No aux-in though. Sad And it's FWD vs. the legacy/outback.
Any thoughts on the V6 engine? I believe it's Ford's Duratec block. My friend has a 6 sport and has been problem free.

I had a mazda 6 gt the engine is good problem free. But there are many nicer vehicles now for the same price. The new 6 looks much nicer it will have a bigger engince and more toys huge rebates are always there for the mazda 6 wait for a year or so...
