Couple things. Lol
You're gonna get nearly NO love around here for the 350Z. These guys can be ruthless. Lol. Personally I liked my Z. So congrats.

And, just go with your dyno sheet in hand with the 280whp. In my experience that 15% rule of thumb for crank hp.... almost never is. Lol

That will give you some info on the n/a power of the hr.

Excuse me. I don't care about the car. As someone with a family member who has Down's Syndrome, I don't care for someone being called a 'retard'.

I HATE SPEEDBUMPS!
The Nissan Z was my first choice, but it only seats 2. With 2 kids, so i decided to get the rx8. My wife is not going to agree with me on the Z anyway. Good luck with your new ride.

the Z is a pretty nice car. although not being able to put the seats flat kinda bothers me, you know.
also the viscous lsd is also a bit slow to respond too. shifter is a bit numb to use. other than that pretty nice car to drive.

So anyway dude, sorry about the misunderstanding. In all honesty. I was just messing with you and yes, I did get the hr designation mixed up. I just didnt expect you to lose it. Lol. If you read my post I did say congrats and i liked the car. Still do.
The only other point I made was keep your dyno sheet and your wheel hp. Don't quote "crank hp" because unless you had the engine out, on an engine dyno, you truthfully don't have a clue what the actual crank hp is and anyone with any experience is going to call you on it. Just like i did. That's all. 15% for autos and 12% for manuals is all just best guesses. Don't quote a guess. Besides, "crank hp" doesn't move your car. Torque on the ground does. Stick with your dyno proven rwhp.
So anyway, enjoy it. And don't take things so seriously. Lol

I just deleted a bunch of posts among other action. Keep it calm and civil. You can disagree without getting nasty, and getting nasty is never as humorous as some people think it is.
This is getting moved though, as the discussion is not about an RX-8, which is contrary to the intent of the subforum "RX-8 Discussion".

Yeah. What he said! Heck, I got an "infraction" and a "point" taken away! I'm pretty sure that's like timeout in Pre-K! Ouch!
Anyway, I'm going to go drown my sorrows with a couple beers on the golf course. Just forget this whole horrifying mess. Lol. Y'all have a good one. Happy Easter.

Yeah guys sorry for the inappropriate language. Didn't mean to be a immature *******. You know how it is you research the hell out of something and someone tells you your wrong, like when people tell us our rx8's are 4 cyclinders.

I hope so. He was probably 20 something with a baby on the way. I got 500 over kbb so I was happy. He said he'd take good care of her. Ill probably creep some looks at her some day, he only lives 30 minutes away or so.

Voids warranties
I really like the Z. A buddy of mine has one and Ive driven it couple times. I almost got one before I got the 8. I just couldn't get past the fact that around here, everybody and their mother has one. Its not unique enough for my taste.

I appraise about three or four of those a month.
My opinion, nice car if you have never driven an RX-8. You got it at a good price as long as everything was installed correctly and not just slapped together.
Have fun with it, the extra power will be nice. I just can't past how they drive.
FYI, KBB is a joke. They are about as accurate at knowing what a car is worth as blind monkey.
