The only thing that can beat an RX-8 in a 1/4 mile is a top fuel dragster or nitro-burning funny car driven by Mr. Force himself.

If you pick up the latest Road & Track w/ the S7 on the cover, it looks like they redesigned the interior. It looks pretty good now. They also have an LCD/DVD display that show the rear view via a rear mounted camera.

No way man, the batmobile would go down in flames to the 8 (literally), the only car out there that would stand a chance against the 8 is that 12 sec. hot rod that paul walker drove in the coolest moive ever. Even with a cracked intake manifold that caused his floormats to blowup he still almost won the race.

Mazda RX-8 versus Hyundai Excel GLS!!!


I heard the Hyundai can beat the RX-8 ....... if both cars were thrown off a cliff, the Hyundai would touchdown first.

well technically, that's true...i'm guessing you mean the Hyundai Elantra GLS? in any case, that's a smaller car than the RX-8 and if you through both off the cliff at the same time, the Hyundai would land first due to less surface area producing less air friction...but maybe once you get your RX-8, you can also buy a Hyundai for 12 bucks and we can test this hypothesis! :p
