yeah, these RC cars are awesome. i've got a truck that hits 45 mph, & a car that tops out around 65... incredible little machines.

the little car, with a mclaren f1 gtr body, about 15 inches long or so, hits 60 well before an 8 does.

the truck & car run off of the same engine, but the truck has a driveshaft while the car is run on belts. the engine is a single piston, & its pumps out around 1.3 HP when tuned correctly.

they are an absolute blast to play around with; they have taught me a lot about cars (no rotaries, unfortunately...what a cool project that could be!!!) & patience. for every minute the cars have been running, ive probably spent 5 minutes tuning, tweaking, repairing...oh yeah, & the truck burns 125 mL's of the nitro fuel in about 15 minutes, depending on how hard you run em. it would be interesting if there was a way to figure out its gas mileage, but thats pretty much impossible. i bet its better than the 8 though!!!

The first time I saw these things was at 7stock, and I was amazed how fast they are, and well they handle. I guess I just had no idea they were capable of that kind of performance.
