New Subie Ad

Kinda like a big Senior picking on a scrawny Freshman, but funny none the less.

Agreed

2 completly different classes. Rally inspired turbo AWD champion versus turbo peppy get around town FF. Kind of an apples and Oranges comparison.

Maybe "It'll take you 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, and still be revolting."

How about "4.7s; 4.5 if we removed the rediculous shopping cart handle and the other spoiler we put on the back window."

Guy's it is just an ad. Don't blow it out of proportion or anything...

I think it's kinda funny.

+1

If this was a comparison to the R32/R36 or a Jetta with the R32 setup... then it'd be a different story.

Stack 3 of those spoilers-and you've got an empty bookcase. Bookshelves with character.

Smart advertsing from Subaru. I like it. Kicks up a little competative advertisement. Mazda should hire the same advertisement firm...

honestly i thought the same thing...i didn't get it. so now clever advertising is dependant on viewer's seeing OTHER advertising first in order to work?

uh, no.

One funny thing about that video is VW did actually engine the car to make the engine noice in the cabin louder. Which to me is a perfect example of why German cars are usually very good but rarely great as a drivers car. They're just too contrived, engine noise isn't something you should have manufacture or engineer and pipe into the cabin, it should just happen.
