Also on display at the company’s stand in Chicago will be the Mazda Turbo2 concept, a 1990 Miata with just 3688 miles on the odometer, Patrick Dempsey’s Miata Grand-Am race car, and a Mazda Indy Car racer.
You know, I suggested Mazda do this to the PRHT (on the UK MX-5 Forum) when they first came out 5 years ago ...that is use a Black Painted Retractable Roof.......boy did I get flamed on.
IMO I think the rear Roof Cover should also be black.

Yeah, it ties in really well. Roof, mirrors, wheels, various trim/wipers/etc....
Even though it's ~$7k more than the BRZ I was lightly considering for a daily (and largely discarding due to engine feel and climbing base weight) this would certainly trump it in my opinion.
If I do get it though, it's probably going to quash the diesel CX-5 plans then. Too many cars and not enough cash/driveway space.
Not really into a 2-seater, but i used to own a Triumph Spitfire 1500 when i was stationed in Georgia, and i sold it to a co-worker when i got off the service. I miss that car, it was color green and its only a 4 speed manual.
