The Scion iA is destroying the CX-3 in sales, yet supposedly, every journalist keeps telling us that consumers only want to buy small SUV's in the US market.

Man, what do you think would happen if you put the Corolla name plate on the Mazda 3, or the Camry nameplate on the Mazda 6?

I'm interested in seeing what happens with the Fiat 124 once the dealers actually have some in stock to sell to customers.

agree with your "destroying" term for it but i also thunk that it's really not bad considering the size of the two companies number of dealers etc. the numbers arent really far off at all until March of this year when the Scion goes on a tear, doubling the Mazda number each month. I wonder if Toyota went incentive crazy at that time?

I was wondering about possible incentives too, and on the flip side, I'm pretty surprised how stingy Mazda has gotten on pricing the last couple of years. Not much negotiation like there used to be.
