im an infidel
i feel like a horrible person, but i have started a love affair with another car.
my new car of obcession is the WRX. its more practical and its quicker. its comfortable too. the only thing is that its not a rotary. hmm... maybe i could do a rotary conversion for the wrx. j/k.
i took a test drive today, and while driving it we almost got into an accident. we had to swerve onto the wrong side of the road and then get back in while avoiding other cars. it was scary as hell, but i could really feel the awd helping me out and thats the kinda sure footedness i need in a car. ill still be on here, since ive yet to find a wrx forum with the kind of community that this club has.
sry, but im another one who doesnt want the risk of a rotary car and has moved on.

WRX is a fine car but it's ugly as sin inside out and feels cheap like a Happy Meal toy. I would consider the Subaru Legacy, much better looking, decent interior, detuned STi engine (easily chipped) and still get you the performance AWD.

thanks for the sites, ike. i havent seen you around 8 club for a while. are you registered on either of those clubs?
to me, the rotary engine is too much of a risk. im not saying its not reliable, but because i know so little about it, i worry about how im going to maintain it.
personally, i like the 05 wrx interior. they updated it alittle bit more. the seats are super comfortable for long trips and i think its kinda attractive. when i was in it, it didnt feel cheap to me at all. it was on par with the rx8, except with no leather or navigation. and i dont know if any of you have heard the new 260 watt sterio that come with that car, but its really impressive.

Yeah I visit both, ClubWRX is the better of the two IMO, Nasioc is just massive and a wealth of info but less of a community feel save for the local forums.

Did your 8 even make it to the first oil change?

Well nosubstitutec4s, sorry you feel like parting with your RX-8. If it makes you happy to find another car, then by all means make yourself happy . I am sure your RX-8 will find a happy home. Good luck with your WRX, if that is what you're planning. The car of the Pleiades is a good one.
