Flooded Engine or Something else

I'm a fairly new 8 owner.....this morning I went to start my car, it turned over slightly...then I all I could hear is "tick, tick, tick" ... so I took the key out, tried to start it again...this time, NO slight turn over just " tick, tick, tick" ..... the radio comes on, the lights are on...the car just won't start .... any thoughts?

thanks in advance.
