Facelifted CX-7 surfaces

http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evospyshot...mazda_cx7.html

Taped up but you can see some changes to the "oil cooler" openings and the tail lamps

1 exhaust tip points to availability of a non FI version of the DISI i believe. probably the 2.5 from the new Mazda6 and maybe with the new SISS as well.

Mazda, do what ever you want as long as you get rid of that stupid f$%*ing alligator skin "skid mark" down the center of the seats!!!

Most distasteful interior detail I've seen in a Mazda.

I like the CX-7, but why no MT in the US? Think they'll manage to give it a bigger grin than the 3?

Yeah, I know. I read a statistic in R&T or maybe Automobile mag a while back. I don't remember the exact figures, but it was something like 80% AT, 20% MT sold in the US. In Europe the figures were exactly flipped. 20% AT, 80% MT. But you know, it really is too hard to talk on your cell phone, drink your latte, and apply makeup while shifting.

Autoblog has the 2010 CX-7 up.

It does have a 2.5 NA engine now. Wonder how that engine will move the SUV........ its only got 161hp/tq

Look's like an R3 that let herself go after getting married and popping out a few kids.

I always did like the CX-7. They need to get more power out the turbo. Maybe 300hp.

Lol. Well, the pre-facelift CX-7 looked like a pre-facelift RX-8 in the same situation... so I guess they are staying consistent

I would rock that CX7, with some good looking 19's though. LOoks sharp!

Here's the rest of the pics from Autoblog.

my father has a 08 cx-7. hmm it looks about the same, interior has changed somewhat ... not all

they called this a facelift ?

hmm. ok ...

the 2.5 NA I dont know ... its probably good enough.

to be honest with you guys, the cx-7, under "regular" driving conditions the turbo is sitting there not doing a thing, cuz it kicks in at around 2900 rpm, so if u drive it normally, it shifts around at 2500 rpm. So ....

but the car weights 4000 something lbs, 2.5 NA ... hmm ... turbo not kicked in is about the same as a NA motor hmm ...
