E30 BMW content

My son is in the process of selling his 1990 325is (we have potential buyer with first right to refusal otherwise it goes up for sale this week) and picked up a more "economical" 1991 318is.

Oops!! This one has 2 extra cylinders!! This is no 1.8 liter 4 banger. It is a S50 out of a 1995 M3 240 HP before possibly a chip, headers, hotter cam.

Arrived from Texas last night. I got to drive it home from the transport. Fun fun car. Complete wolf in a sheeps clothing.

Anyone want a 1990 325is?

You're on Rx8 Club and saying a 325is isn't economical compared to a 13b? LOL

my friend has an S50/E30 and it sounds like elephants. you're lucky you're in florida, my friend had to jump thru a TON of hoops to get his car smog legal in CA.

oh and Nopistonz, the 325 doesn't get much better mileage than an Rx8, i wanna say mine did like 20mpg average, mostly city

The economical was a joke, the car is supposed to have a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder 130 HP motor, it now has a 3 liter 240 HP motor.

The car came form Tejas and passed emissions there. But then again Tejas is not Cali. I could never live in Cali mainly because of the **** like emissions testing.

If I tried to smog my RX7 they would just shoot me as I rolled up.

i'm kind of over the whole CA smog test thing, its just f-ing stupid.

i tried to smog an FD last month, and the smog people spent half an hour looking for the EGR valve, and then refused to smog the car when they couldn't find it.

did it pass out the tailpipe? yuuuup, HC's were about 12, CO is 0, NOX was even low, i think like 50.

but anyways, enjoy ze BMW
